I'm up in San Fransisco this week with some of the team from Blue Pulse Studios helping to promote their flagship game, Zera and the City of Endless Night at the Game Developers Conference!
Zera and the City of Endless Night is about a young woman made of light, who wakes up in a world shrouded in darkness. She soon learns that the sun has been torn away by a corrupt god, and she is the only one who can restore it's light.
It's a very beautiful side-scroller, multi-platformer (Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC/Mac) video game that integrates 2D animation in the style of Japanese anime with stunning 3D environments.
Zera is the brain child of one of my best friends, Raphael Arkera, and I've been helping him with promotion on social media for the past few months, particularly on Instagram (you know, Instagram is my jam). I've also been assisting with art and writing, among other things. Definitely proud to call myself a member of the team at Blue Pulse Studios.
Here is an illustration I painted of the title character, Zera.
I highly recommend you follow along with the development of Zera, she's going to be a very new and original game and the art we have already is just gorgeous.
